Package prices are a starting point. Customisations for time, images and travel may change the total. The final amount and agreed services are confirmed before booking. Where GST applies, treatment will be stated in the written confirmation.

Custom quotes and the estimator

The interactive estimator helps illustrate possible totals based on selected package inclusions and optional extras. Estimator figures are indicative only. They do not lock in a price, reserve a date or create a contract.

Every package includes 20 km of one-way driving distance from Highland Park, Auckland (503 Pakuranga Road). Additional return travel beyond that allowance is estimated at NZ$1.25 per kilometre. When automatic travel lookup is enabled, driving-distance estimates use openrouteservice (OpenStreetMap) via secure Cloudflare Pages Functions. Results are indicative and may differ from other mapping products. Ferries, islands, multiple separated locations and unusual access may require a manual quotation. Any travel charge is confirmed before booking.

Use of openrouteservice is also subject to HeiGIT / openrouteservice terms and OpenStreetMap data licences. Routing results are licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0 where that licence applies to openrouteservice outputs.

Editing, delivery and revisions

Standard editing is included with finished images delivered under an agreed package. Detailed retouching is optional and confirmed per photograph after shooting. Reasonable corrections to work that fails the agreed standard are not charged as extras. Delivery timing, gallery access and any revision rounds for a particular booking are set out in the written confirmation for that session — this website does not invent fixed delivery deadlines.

Prints, frames and instant-style photographs

Prints, framed prints and instant-style miniature prints may be available as optional additions once a gallery is complete. Sizes, finishes, production method, cost, timeframe and printing rights are confirmed before any order is accepted. Instant-style prints are keepsakes with classic white borders and are not presented as genuine Polaroid film products unless separately stated. The site does not operate a product checkout.

Online galleries and downloads

Where a private online gallery is included, access arrangements and download expectations are confirmed for that booking. Gallery links are personal to the client relationship and should not be published or redistributed without agreement.

Photograph use, publication and permissions

Browsing this website or accepting these website terms does not grant ItsJustHewy promotional publication permission for every identifiable client photograph. Permission to publish client or subject photographs for portfolio, website, social media or marketing purposes is handled separately — typically through booking documents or a specific publication consent. Subjects may withdraw publication permission for future use where that is reasonably available; already published materials may require practical discussion about what can be updated.

Copyright and licensing

Unless otherwise stated, the website layout, text and published portfolio photographs on this site are protected by copyright and related rights. Please do not copy, sell, republish or commercially reuse protected site content without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where a statutory exception or applicable licence allows it. Linking to public pages is welcome.

For commissioned photography in New Zealand, copyright ownership is governed by the Copyright Act 1994, including section 21. In many commissioning situations, the person who commissions and pays for a photograph may be the first owner of copyright unless there is an agreement to the contrary. ItsJustHewy does not assert a blanket claim that Louis automatically owns copyright in every commissioned photograph regardless of agreement. Ownership, licences for client use, and any retention of portfolio rights for Louis are confirmed in the booking agreement for each session.

Cancellation, rescheduling and weather

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposits and refund arrangements — if any — are set out in the written booking confirmation for your session. This website does not invent non-refundable deposit percentages or fixed cancellation fees. Weather, light and location conditions may make a planned outdoor session impractical; reasonable rescheduling will be discussed where that occurs.

Payment

Payment methods, timing and any deposit requirements are confirmed in writing for each booking. This website does not currently process card payments or collect deposits online.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act where those Acts apply. Complaints about website use or an enquiry can be raised through the contact page or Instagram.

External services and links

External websites and services — including Instagram, Cloudflare Pages hosting, Google Fonts and openrouteservice — have their own terms and privacy practices. We aim to keep this site available and accurate, but content, portfolios and links can change.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date below shows when this page was last revised. Booking conditions for paid sessions remain separate from these website terms.
